To donate blood, you must:

  • Be between 17 and 76 years old
  • Weigh at least 110 pounds
  • Be in good health. Generally, you can donate if you are taking medication, although it will depend on your state of health and the type of medication you are taking.
  • Have a picture ID
  • Must not have any blood-borne or viral diseases
