The Skin of Color Center

Founded in February 1999, the Skin of Color Center of St. Luke's and Roosevelt Hospitals addresses the unique needs of patients with pigmented skin, hair and nails. The center specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions that are common or of particular concern in individuals of color, including, but not limited to, African-Americans, Asians, and Latinos. A full staff of Board-certified dermatologists with expertise in skin of color provides individualized and culturally sensitive care.
